I recently stayed at The East Hotel in Hangzhou for a week-long business trip. From the moment I arrived, I received excellent service, especially from Xavier, the concierge. The luxury suite I stayed in was incredibly spacious and well-equipped, providing everything I could possibly need. Despite not being close to the lake, transportation was convenient and affordable, with taxis readily available. The hotel had a unique blend of modern and traditional elements, creating an interesting atmosphere. The staff were kind and helpful, and the amenities provided were the best I have experienced in Shanghai hotels. I felt like I was at a home away from home, thanks to the serene design, friendly staff, and top-notch service. Special thanks to Gina, our housekeeper, for keeping our room clean and comfortable throughout our stay. I will definitely be returning in the future.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The room was hugely spacious with a separate wardrobe, a large bedroom, a large bathroom with bath, shower and extra toilet room, the beds are very comfortable, the hotel is also very stylishly furnished,
The breakfast was delicious, but there were only 4 different breakfasts to choose from on the menu, unfortunately the hotel has no pool, the bar closes already at 23:00h

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Hangzhou. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and I especially appreciated the spaciousness of the rooms, with a separate living area and a beautiful bathroom. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, providing useful information and excellent room service. The location was also great, close to the canal and not too far from the main attractions. Though taxis in this city can be difficult to get, I had no trouble accessing transportation during my stay.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

During our weekend stay, we enjoyed the complimentary minibar and the television in our bathroom. The hotel is located in a very quiet and peaceful area, perfect for resting after a busy day. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure we felt comfortable during our stay.
The prices were high and the service was slow, as dishes were served separately and sides didn't come in time. We found better options outside of the hotel for our meals.

The staff at East Hotel went above and beyond during our stay. They helped us secure train tickets to Shanghai when we encountered difficulties, and even let us use their mobile phone to contact our daughter. We were impressed with their exceptional service and the warm welcome we received. The hotel itself was modern, cozy, and had beautiful design features. The breakfast selection was fantastic and the room was spacious and well-equipped. we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

During my recent stay at The East Hotel Hangzhou, I was truly impressed by the modern comfort and style of the rooms. The wood panels and stylish lighting created a beautiful ambiance, while the large bathrooms were a wonderful addition. The soft bed linens and Aromatherapy bath products added a touch of luxury that made the hotel feel like a home away from home.

The hotel is conveniently located in a residential area with plenty of shops and cafes nearby. It is easy to get a taxi from the hotel. The lobby, breakfast restaurant, and rooms are tastefully decorated with good color coordination. The large screen above the reception showing different seasons adds a nice touch to the ambiance. The breakfast offered interesting choices.
The rooms can be a bit dark, but it's not a major issue. The front of the hotel is not easily noticeable, so it's important to have the correct address for the taxi driver.
